Creating of the character in EVE Online MMORPG deserves to be mentioned.

After choosing race and bloodline, which determines overall appearance, you will be able to make a lot of modifications to your character facial/body futures.
Tools provided let you create a unique (well, there are doubles in a real life) appearance for your Avatar.
It does not affect your skills & specialization, but it does affect on your relationship with other players, since this picture represents you in game chats, official forum, and so on. Do spend some time at this step.

There is an opportunity to change character picture later, but is will cost you some cash
