WHAT IS FANFEST?
Fanfest brings together players in a massive celebration of the virtual world of EVE Online. Travelers from all around the world gather in one of the most beautiful and unique locations the planet has to offer.
Allies and rivals alike set aside their in-game differences to share drinks with one another and forge new friendships. CCP developers mingle with the community, always up for "talking shop" and getting to know the players.
Fanfest takes place in Iceland every year.
This is an unique opportunity to:
- See presentation of upcoming content.
- Meet & talk with Developers.
- See friends & foes heard before only over VOIP, or seen in local chat of the system.
- Visit EVE Store and grab some EVE branded items you might like.
- It is also a good chance to see Iceland itself, at least most fun part of it. (Tour is normally included into fanfest programm)
- And of course there is a "Party on top of the world"
"Sisters of EVE program" let's you take your "out of EVE" friend/girlfriend/family member with you.
To get there all you need to do - is to get an invitation, and arrange a travel.
Any active account owner can get an invitation through account management page, better if you do that in advance because there is a limited quantity of those.
Travel & hotel can be arranged by Iceland Air tours (links can be found on fanfest page).
In case that option does not work for you (no IcelandAir tours from you country & alike), any booking service can be used.
I would suggest to use our travel section.
And foreseeing some question i would say NO, we do not sell tickets, that section is just a widget of some booking services i used & belive relible :-).
You might need a visa, that depends on your country.
